Philippines is a good place to live but not good place to find good job…you can find a job here but you must be a filipino citizen like my friend he married a filipina also.

As a foreigner in the Philippines you are forbidden by law to work there in ANY capacity. Unless……you set up a business there that employs Filipinos then you can be their boss. If you think you are not rich in the USA or whichever country you come from working as a groundskeeper, your present income is actually 10-50 times more than what a landscaper or RR conductor earns in the Philippines. Such a job in the Philippines will have you , in no time, living in squalor, compared to your present job. That is reality for millions of Filipinos, some of them are hardworking and very well educated.

I would rather stay where you are and just bring your wife to your country.

sorry to hear ya. i am a graduate with 3 college degrees yet i can’t even support my family. its good that my wife is also employed. but suggestions? yeah maybe in resorts. but not in our professions where aliens are not allowed.

Better think not only 2x, but more! I am a Filipino American, college graduate! Many Filipinos are going to the USA for greener pastures.
Filipino teachers are working as domestic helpers in Hongkong because they earn more there. Some of them go to the USA to work as teachers also.
Fiipino nurses are going to different places in the world such as Asia, London, Middle East, USA! Mind you, not only nurses, doctors are going into the nursing course & already in the USA. They are already contended in their status in the Philippines, however, they want to save the future generation.
Filipino pharmacists are now going to the USA, Canada and Australia for greener pastures where they will earn not only double but more than what they are presently earning.
Filipino pilots are also working abroad for the future of their families.
The Philippines is a great place to live when you retire but not when you are in the working age group! We have a great place for vacations! Filipinos are leaving the Philippines despite their homesickness for the welfare of their family.
Railroad construction deals with politicians because most projects are approved by their office. You should know that Philippine government from the lowest political position to the highest positions in the land are mostly corrupt! This is the reason why the Philippines is still a 3rd world country despite its resources & citizens who are college graduates!
