As long as there was a wedding and you have a marriage license you are still considered married.

You are still considered married even IF you never consummated the marriage.

It depends where you live. You may be able to have it annulled if you have not lived together. Talk to a lawyer.

Jeff I don’t think this is a marriage-I don’t know about it being dissolved but you defiantly have grounds for divorce-The problem is if you can afford to hire an attorney to do the paper work-And since she is in the phils I think you will need to-I don’t know how you feel about the sanctity of marriage but if it were me I would just go on with your life and begin to date again-If you do become involved with the right woman for you and want a real relationship then tell her about your issue and if she feels the same as you do about her then go for the divorce-A good woman will stay with you and help you thru the divorce-Hugs Nellers

Yes, the marriage can be annulled on the grounds of ‘non-consumation’, if you have not had *** with your partner during your marriage. You can also argue ‘passive abandonment’ as she’s withheld *** for more than 6 months.

Yes, marriage is still valid though not consummated, u need an official divorce, u need to apply for the divorce.
If marriage was never consummated, this could be a reason for divorce, but it does not automatically assure u a divorce, the proceedings could be painfully long.
